2018 Stars and Stripes Academy (May 17th - May 20th)
The Stars and Stripes Academy was created in 2012 by Karl Richins (former Big-12 referee, published author, and current Big Sky Conference Coordinator of Officials) and Ryan Dickson (NFL Side Judge #25) as a way to prepare officials for the experience of working “big time” football. The Academy is located in Salt Lake City, Utah, with this upcoming year (2018) being held May 17th through the 20th.
2018 Tait-Consul Football Officiating Camp (June 26 -June 28)
Tait - Consul Football Officiating Camp is a 3-day clinic held @ Southern Utah University designed to improve your skills as a football official.
You will work scrimmages in crews of 7, while receiving valuable feedback from Division I & Division II officials.
This camp is held in conjunction with the Southern Utah University High School Football Camp.
Classroom sessions will be used to discuss mechanics, philosophy and rules applications for all levels of officiating.
2018 Front Range Clinic (June 9th -12th)
2018 Front Range Clinic in Ft Collins is Saturday, June 9 thru Tuesday morning, June 12. This is a camp that focuses on 5 man High School mechanics, but also begins to explore 7 man mechanics for those who are interested. It is a great camp that has loads of great instruction, good snaps (runs in conjunction with Colorado State’s padded High School football camp), and solid feedback (both on-field and film review) with a low camper to clinician ratio.
2018 Sioux Empire Football Officials Clinic (June 17th/18th)
The success of our clinic is directly related to the support of our NFL and NCAA Division I Clinicians. We have had the privilege of having Mike Spannier NFL #90 Line Judge, Joe Larrew NFL#73 Side Judge, Carl Madsen retired NFL Umpire and now in the replay booth. From the D I ranks Bill Le Monnier retired Big 10 Referee, Mike Carr Big 10 Head Linesman, Justin Larrew of MAC and Randy Campbell of the PAC 12, David Carlsrud retired of NDHSAA and Buck Timmons of SDHSAA. We also receive strong support from John Krogstrand with the SDHSAA.
