    Tyler & Dwayne,
First, I’m a big fan of your podcasts. I spend a lot of time in my car and in the gym and have found your discussion topics rules questions and guests to be both entertaining and informative. Keep up the good work! We’re all getting better as a result of your efforts. As I type this more, I’m
driving to beautiful Peru, NE for a Spring Game in the Heart of America Conference (NAIA), where I officiate football in the deep wing and referee positions.
I’m from Ankeny, IA, a suburb of Des Moines.
I’m writing to suggest a guest for your show, Mr. Danny Harris, Officiating Coordinator of the Heart of America Conference as well as National Coordinator for NAIA Football Championships. Danny has done more for the development of college football officials in the midwest than anyone you’ll meet. You’ll be able to validate that claim through not only his peers but also from hundreds of successful college officials Danny has helped transition from high school to small college to Div II to Div I and to the NFL.
Through a network of loyal and grateful mentors and instructors, Danny has developed and instituted the “gold standard” of training clinics and camps. More importantly, he has ingrained the philosophy of continuous improvement necessary to succeed as a collegiate official.
I believe you’d find Danny to be terrific guest on your show. Contact me if you’d like me to introduce you or provide further details.
Thanks for all you do to support and promote college football officiating.

You guys do a great job! Keep it up…

I have a quick question for clarification, as I am catching up on your podcasts:
On April 14 you were discussing question #10 from the CIP exam. The result of the play is B ball on A45. My answer is B 1/10 @A44. Isn’t illegal kicking a spot foul?
You do not need to broadcast this question on the podcast.

My apologies if this was talked about again on a later podcast.

    Thank you again.

Hi Tony. Illegal kicking falls on the 3 and 1 principal. The basic spot is the previous spot since the related run ended behind the NZ. The foul occurs 2 yards beyond the basic spot so we will have to enforce at the basic spot (for the team not in possession).
